Trivia/Fun Facts: Friday the 13th, part 7

- the title is Friday the 13th part VII: The New Blood
- this film, like several of its predecessors, had to be edited down 9 times to receive the R rating.  Allegedly the most edited of all the series.
- first appearance of horror vet Kane Hodder as Jason
- The film was originally imagined to be Jason Voorhees vs. Freddy Kruger - which would finally happen in 2003
